Born on November 3, 1984, in Lagos State, Toke Makinwa is 36 years old as of 2020. She is the second of four children. Tragically, she lost her parents in a fire at the age of 8 and was raised by Mr. and Mrs. Akinyele. She attended Federal College for Girls in Oyo State before going on to the University of Lagos, where she earned a degree in English and Literature.
