Born on June 15, 1995, in Abia State, Nigeria, Nelly was raised in a religious family alongside three siblings.

Nelly completed her primary and secondary schooling in Abia State before attending the Federal University of Agriculture in Benue State, where she pursued a degree in Food Science Technology. After graduation, she joined the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in 2023.

Nelly’s modeling career kicked off in 2013 when she won the Face of Igbere contest.
