Iyabo Ojo, a celebrated figure in Nigerian cinema, was born in Lagos to Olubunmi Fetuga and Adekunle Ogunro. Raised alongside her brother, Babalola Ojo, she completed her primary education at National College, Gbagbada, Lagos, and later pursued a degree in estate management at Lagos State Polytechnic.
Her passion for acting began in secondary school, where she participated in a drama group. She officially entered the industry in 1998, inspired by actress Bimbo Akintola, who helped her join the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) and introduced her to key figures in Nollywood.
