Police said Fred, a former comedian on the Churchill Show, died instantly in a 6 a.m. collision between a motorcycle and a bus near the Caltex petrol station. Fred was in the motorcycle like a highwayman.
According to a police report obtained by Capital News, the crash occurred at about 6:00 a.m. on June 15, 2024, near the Caltex petrol station on Kangundo Road. The accident involved a Forward Sacco bus traveling from Kayole towards the town center and a motorcycle coming from the opposite direction on the wrong side of the road.
The motorcyclist sustained severe injuries, including severe fractures to both his legs and arms, and was taken to Mama Lucy Kibaki Hospital for treatment. Fred’s body is scheduled for an autopsy.
