Dan Bello Biography – Dan Bello was born on December 12, 1987, in State College, Pennsylvania, to Habeeb and Halisa Galadanchi. He was born and raised with his family in Abuja, the capital of Nigeria, where he also went to school with his siblings. Dan Bello worked a range of jobs in Africa, such as construction, selling street food, and supporting his father’s medical business.
Making and selling handcrafted shoes, like rope sandals and the unique “kumazie” sabot heel, which is indigenous to Nigeria, was one of his first jobs. After he graduated in 2006, his parents gave him the opportunity to pursue his education back home.
Dan Bello enrolled at The Pennsylvania State University, where he double majored in bioengineering and classical history, with minors in film studies and African studies. Known as a talented young man, he graduated from college in 2009 with two degrees and two minor certificates. He then went straight into the film business, making short films like Taken by Storm, Charles in Arms, Unknowing Separation, and Water for Baby.
His initial film endeavors were instigated by diverse competitions and advertising campaigns, and he quickly gained recognition within his previous academic communities. Dan Bello was awarded a grant by Nollywood and the Nigerian Film Festival towards the end of 2011 to produce a number of political films for the Nigerian government. Dan Bello fame was largely due to this opportunity, as the additional funding enabled him to produce films in Pennsylvania and California.

Dan Bello holds a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering before beginning her film career. The soft-spoken director, who also minored in sociology, attributes his modest upbringing in Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria, to the “thought provoking” storylines that are frequently associated with his work. Dan Bello is co-founder of To the Moon Productions and the career owner of Dalar Pictures. At the moment, the filmmaker lives in central Pennsylvania.

He has an older sister, an older brother, and an older sister. They live all over the world, in Mexico, China, and Australia, among other places.
Awards and Nominations
In 2007, his seven-foot-tall gingerbread house, which included a forty-part edible display of Santa’s workshop, won the “Best in Show” award at the Centre County Holiday Festival.
