Wizkid was born into a family with a Muslim father and a Christian mother on July 16, 1990, in Ogun State, Nigeria. He grew up in Lagos, grew up in a musical environment, formed a group at the age of eleven and later met celebrities like OJB Jezreel and Naeto C.
